YES! Justice Department Brands 3 Major Cities ‘ANARCHIST jurisdictions’: Bye-Bye Federal Funding!

For too long the streets of major cities like Seattle, Portland, and New York have been terrorized and torn down by rioters, looters, and anarchists. All while the leadership of these cities stay failing their citizens, and leaving them to feel endangered and unsafe. Well now, those leaders will have some major consequences on the way for their BAD decision making.

Bill Barr’s Justice Department has just declared New York City, Portland, and Seattle as ‘anarchist jurisdictions’ and now because of this, they can have their federal funding ripped away. What the perfect consequence for their failure to be good leaders right? These three cities have been listed as cities ‘that have permitted violence and destruction of property to persist and have refused to undertake reasonable measures to counteract criminal acivity’

There are billions of dollars of federal funding at stake and this decision comes following President Trump’s order to ensure the designations amid violence and property damage that has been destroying these cities in waves of crime for several months now.

The designation was decided in a document entitled: ‘Memorandum on Reviewing Funding to State and Local Government Recipients That Are Permitting Anarcy, Violence, and Destruction in American Cities.’ Quite a mouthful indeed, but a mouthful of TRUTH!

Trending: You’ve got to see this! Joe Biden meets a Democrat who disagrees with him on every issue. Joe Biden.

This designation come just weeks before Election Day, as President Trump campaigns across the country to prepare with a message of ‘Law and Order’ to share. The White House Office of Management and Budget will be making more specific determinations regarding the designation in the coming month. The impact of the financial stakes for a city the size of New York are tremendous, as federal funding accounts for $7 billion in funding.

This statement was made just shortly after the decision was made. Attorney General Bill Barr said:

‘When state and local leaders impede their own law enforcement officers and agencies from doing their jobs, it endangers innocent citizens who deserve to be protected, including those who are trying to peacefully assemble and protest,’ Barr said.

‘We cannot allow federal tax dollars to be wasted when the safety of the citizenry hangs in the balance. It is my hope that the cities identified by the Department of Justice today will reverse course and become serious about performing the basic function of government and start protecting their own citizens.’

‘While the city faced increased unrest, gun violence, and property damage, the New York City Council cut $1 billion from NYPD’s FY21 budget,’ it noted.

DAs in Manhattan and Brooklyn who have ‘declined to prosecute charges of disorderly conduct and unlawful assembly arising from the protests.’ were called out for their failure to protect their city. Portland was also put on blast for the way they handled 100 nights of CONSECUTIVE violent protests. Seattle didn’t go unnoticed either, and was called out for allowing protesters to take over parts of their city to set up and maintain the ‘Capitol Hill Autonomouz Zone’ also known as CHAZ.

The document released states that these cities have ‘permitted violence and destruction of property to persist and have refused to undertake resonable measures to counteract criminal activities.’

All this comes after President Trump’s directive to the agency to designate ‘anarchist jurisdictions’. DOJ has made moves to hold local police forces responsible for changes to their police budgets after being pressured by their local activists. This was announced by Trump:

‘For the past few months, several state and local governments have contributed to the violence and destruction in their jurisdictions by failing to enforce the law, disempowering and significantly defunding their police departments, and refusing to accept offers of federal law enforcement assistance,’ Trump said earlier this month announcing the program.

‘To ensure that Federal funds are neither unduly wasted nor spent in a manner that directly violates our Government’s promise to protect life, liberty, and property, it is imperative that the Federal Government review the use of Federal funds by jurisdictions that permit anarchy, violence, and destruction in America’s cities,’ said.

There is nothing more to say, Trump has said it all just perfectly.
