It’s happening! Minneapolis Police Department is investigating the evidence given by Project Veritas tying Rep. Ilhan Omar to illegal cash-for-ballot harvesting before the election.
“The Minneapolis Police Department is aware of the allegations of vote harvesting. We are in the process of looking into the validity of those statements,” a department statement read on Monday. “No further information is available at this time on this.”
Investigators with Project Veritas have exposed a ballot harvesting scheme. It involves both clan and political allies and associates close to Rep. Ilhan Omar.

Since the story has broke it has caught the attention of many. President Trump has already come out and said that the Justice Department will be investigating the claims made, including the allegation of a cash-for-ballot scheme.
“This is totally illegal,” Trump said Sunday, linking to an article on the issue. “Hope that the U.S. Attorney in Minnesota has this, and other of her many misdeeds, under serious review??? If not, why not??? We will win Minnesota because of her, and law enforcement. Saved Minneapolis & Iron O Range!”
Omar’s response came Monday, and we couldn’t have expected anymore than what we got….a RE-DIRECT. She mocked Trump over a New York Times report stating how in 2016 he paid $750 in income taxes. Yes, that was her response after allegedly getting caught mingling in voter fraud.
According to Newsweek, Omar’s senior communications director, Jeremy Slevin, blasted the investigation as an attempt to delegitimize the election.
“The amount of truth to this story is equal to the amount Donald Trump paid in taxes of ten out of the last fifteen years: zero. And amplifying a coordinated right-wing campaign to delegitimize a free and fair election this fall undermines our democracy,” he said.

During Project Veritas private investigation worked with a local community leader, Omar Jarmal, who blew the whistle on the Minnesota congresswoman’s alleged corruption.
“It’s an open secret,” he reportedly said. “she [Omar] will do anything that she can do to get elected and she has hundreds of people on the streets doing that.”
The investigation allegedly discovered a ballot harvesting triangle in three locations of Ward 6. The Riverside Plaza apartments, the senior citizen community at Horn Towers and the Minneapolic Elections and Voter Servies office. All of these locations function as a voting location and ballot drop-off site.
Mohamed continued: “Money is everything. Money is the king in this world. If you got no money, you should not be here period. You know what I am saying.”
Mohamed said that his political methods are interwoven with money.
“Money is everything and a campaign is managed by money. You cannot campaign with $200 or $100 you got from your grandmother or grandfather. You cannot campaign with that. You gotta have an investment to campaign. You gotta have fundraisers.”
Hennepin County Attorney Jeff Wojciechowski told a Project Veritas journalist on a recorded line the ballot harvesting conduct described to him was: “Illegal, and we will be investigating.”
